VdeV Restaurant is a fine dining restaurant with a wide range of offerings from around the world. They embody the spirit, passion, and love for great food to create an amazing experience for customers. They wanted to show this same passion in their social media presence.

The Challenge

 

The brand had made a number of attempts to leverage social media to spread the word about the restaurant but didn’t see desired results.

The overall direction of the previous efforts was heading in the wrong direction and wasn’t conveying the right message to fan or achieving the desired results.

VdeV contacted us to inject new life into their social efforts and produce a meaningful return on investment.

The Goals

 

  • Increase Visibility of the page and business both locally, and with the large number of tourists travelling to the area.

  • Post engaging content to organically grow their social following and reach more people for weekly, monthly and seasonal promotions.

  • Increase the number of social reviews and encourage people to visit again.

  • Help the restaurant become a popular venue for events with targeted ad campaigns.

  • Fill vacant positions using social media, thus avoid expensive agency fees.

 

OUR STRATEGY

 

  • Increase the visibility of the page by posting daily content designed to be eye catching, interesting and insightful to social users.

  • Create a consistent brand image and increase brand recognition by crafting a unique brand style and utilizing this for all advertising.

  • Run monthly contests via social to encourage sharing and participation.

  • Run ad campaigns specifically targeting people who regularly travel through the area on holiday.

  • Create and manage page engagement and follower growth campaigns targeting local social users and people in surrounding cities.

  • Create incentives for people to return by giving them discounts on drinks if they return after posting a review/check-in.

THE RESULTS

 

  • We achieved a 700% increase in the average organic reach of our posts and increased page engagement by over 300%. This increased bookings by 27% in the first month and sales by 32%.

  • Increased brand exposure and recognition by posting viral content to reach a huge audience and used the new hype to advertise weekly and monthly promotions.
